Eric is a Senior Tech Support Engineer, and he’s one of the guys I turn to when I receive really tricky questions. He has a great deal of experience with different solder deposition and analytical methods. My favorite part of working with Eric is that his personality is adaptable to almost any customer he encounters. For instance: he is very professional, but also witty enough to rarely be caught off guard by a joke. He has worked with customers from the Deep South to Silicon Valley, Europe to Asia.
As his bio reads: “Eric is an SMTA-certified process engineer (CSMTPE) and has earned his Six Sigma Green Belt from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. He is also a certified IPC-A-600 and 610D Specialist.” If there were certifications for flux chemistry, preform design, or indium plating – he could not only pass the class, but teach the class as well!
